Our Quest, Jr. program encourages children to gain confidence and independence in a safe, consistent, fun environment. Our program will focus on the whole child: Physical Growth-balance, coordination, flexibility , strength, agility, gross and fine motor skills, Social/Emotional Growth-turn taking, sharing, following directions, receiving corrections, encouraging others, self esteem, confidence, independence, Cognitive Growth-colors, shapes, numbers, patterns.

Age guidelines are considered as of September 1 each year for level placement. Combo I must be completed before Combo II.

Pre-Ballet/Tap I age 3
An introduction to ballet and tap technique for the young dancer. During the first half of class learn ballet positions, skip, hop, gallop, leap and more. The second half of class focuses on tap rhythm and coordination. Wear a leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and black tap shoes. Hair must be pulled back off of face.

Combo I age 5
A combination of ballet, jazz, and tap basics. A good intro- introductory class to dancing for the beginner student. Leotard, tights, ballet and tap shoes required. Skirts and tutus acceptable, hair must be pulled back.
Combo II age 6
After completion of Combo I, students move on to Combo II with more advanced skills. A combination of ballet, jazz, and tap basics. A good intro- introductory class to dancing for the beginner student. Leotard, tights, ballet and tap shoes required. Skirts and tutus acceptable, hair must be pulled back.

DanceQuest provides a nurturing environment for all of our students. It’s the perfect place to for your child’s first dance class.  Not only will they receive a quality dance education, but we provide invaluable educational qualities within our classes.  Your young dancer will learn to follow directions from an instructor, take turns with other dancers, socialize with peers, all while learning fun dance moves.  Our experienced instructors reinforce number and color recognition, counting, coordination, and teach proper french ballet terminology.
